Welcome to Hidden Note! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and application.

By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Hidden Note if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. User Accounts and Usernames

• To create a post, you must log in securely via your Google account.
• You are required to choose a custom username (up to 50 characters). Usernames may only contain lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
• We reserve the right to reclaim, change, or terminate usernames that violate trademarks, are explicitly offensive, or impersonate other individuals.

2. User-Generated Content

• Our platform allows you to create short statements ("Posts") and leave feedback ("Replies") limited to 255 characters.
• You retain ownership of the text you write, but by posting content on Hidden Note, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, format, and display that content on our platform.
• You are entirely responsible for the content you create and distribute using our link-sharing tool or custom image-rendering tool.

3. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use Hidden Note to:

• Post or share any material that is defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, or an invasion of another person's privacy.
• Publish illegal content or materials that violate any local, national, or international laws.
• Attempt to bypass our security measures, forge database queries, or spam our Firestore server.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to generate spam posts or replies. Violating this will trigger a block via our Firebase App Check infrastructure.

4. Service Availability & Limitations

• Hidden Note is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee that your previous posts or replies will be hosted indefinitely. We reserve the right to wipe old data, delete specific collections, or modify limits without prior notice.
• We are not responsible for any emotional distress, misunderstandings, or arguments resulting from anonymous or private replies made through our messaging toggle feature.

5. Intellectual Property

Other than the content you own, under these Terms, Hidden Note and/or its licensors own all the intellectual property rights and materials contained in this Website (including our source scripts, custom gradient UI stylings, canvas asset configurations, and logos).

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your ability to access the service or create posts immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
